Our consultancy adopts a structured methodology focused on the identification, evaluation, and mitigation of fire risk, ensuring hazards are reduced to a level that is as low as reasonably practicable (ALARP). Fire risks are examined in depth, considering ignition sources, fire load, fire development, occupant characteristics, and management arrangements, with proportionate and standardised fire prevention and protection measures implemented accordingly.

To support this approach, the company has invested in a state-of-the-art fire load assessment system, enabling a detailed evaluation of combustible materials and anticipated fire severity. This capability allows for the development of robust, site-specific control measures, ensuring fire safety solutions are both effective and defensible.

The company is founded and led by Noel Vassallo, a fire safety professional with extensive operational, instructional, and consultancy experience. Mr Vassallo began his career as a firefighter in 2016, progressing through the operational ranks to Assistant Crew Commander, Crew Commander, and subsequently Station Fire Officer (Training and Development).

In parallel with his operational career, Mr Vassallo has delivered fire safety and firefighting training internationally, providing instruction to both industry personnel and professional firefighters. Training delivery ranges from foundational fire safety awareness to advanced operational firefighting instruction, ensuring training is realistic, practical, and aligned with real-world fire behaviour.

Mr Vassallo holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Risk Assessments awarded by a British institution and is a member of the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE). This academic and professional background supports strong proficiency in UK fire safety legislation and guidance, including the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, British Standards, PAS 79, and Approved Document B, together with a thorough working knowledge of Maltese fire safety legislation.
